The World Championships 2005 HPB have been held in Wackersdorf/Bavaria
Germany on 19-21 August 2005.
There has been a new European 100m record flying start by:
Alexander Gaebler on "Haiflyke" (Hydrofoil) in 14.42
seconds!

24 hours World Guinness Record by L'
Ordegno!
Bavisela event Trieste - May 2005
On 6th of May 2005, in Trieste, Trieste Waterbike Team made History
with their human powered boat l'Ordegno.
With three peddlers on board they made the "24 hours record attempt
without changing the crew" and crushed the previous record!
They covered a distance of 176,8 km. Go to 24 hours record

A German team, from Hamburg sailed 400 km with their waterbike
Clementine to Berlin. They started their journey on April 30th and
appear at the starting line of the IWR 2004:
