24 hours World Guinness Record by L'
Ordegno!

On 6th of May 2005, in Trieste, Trieste Waterbike Team made History
with their human powered boat l'Ordegno.
With three peddlers on board they made the "24 hours record attempt
without changing the crew" and crushed the previous record!
They covered a distance of 176,8 km.

The 24 hour record attempt has been done !!!!
After a careful preparation of this experienced team Trieste
Waterbike Team managed to cover a distance of 176,8 km within 24
hours. The existing record of 90.28 km has been crushed with this
impressive achievement. The team reached the finish at 4:48 AM on
Saturday morning.

The "Bavisela" event is organized every year in Trieste and finishes with the Europe
Marathon. During this event the "Ordegno, 24h for a
Guinness" took place.
Andreas Schlief and Christian Mayer witnessed the record attempt
for IHPVA to register this positive result, the Ordegno has entered the Guinness World
Record Book.
